用用法

• Two readings. chù = a place/spot: 到处 (dàochù) everywhere, 好处 (hǎochu, neutral tone) benefit, 短处 (duǎnchù) weak point.
• chǔ = to handle / get along: 处理 (chǔlǐ) to deal with (处理问题 chǔlǐ wèntí handle a problem), 相处 (xiāngchǔ) to get along with, 处于 (chǔyú) to be situated in a state.
• 好处 (hǎochu) advantage and 坏处 (huàichù) drawback are the usual pro and con pair, from the chù sense of a point: 有什么好处 (yǒu shénme hǎochu) what's the benefit?
