Cómo se usa
- Un testigo que presta testimonio - 出庭作证的证人 (chūtíng zuòzhèng de zhèngrén) el testigo que declara en el juicio.
- Registro jurídico. Distinto de 目击者 (mùjīzhě, el testigo presencial de un hecho): un 证人 es quien presta testimonio formal, no necesariamente quien lo vio.
- Va con 作证 (zuòzhèng, testificar).
